Located in the heart of the West End, the Rainforest Cafe is your invitation to our exotic jungle recreating the sights and sounds of the Amazon Rainforest.  The Rainforest Cafe has been around since 1997 and is still very much a popular destination for children and adults alike.  From the minute you set foot into the venue, trumpeting elephants, tropical thunder and real running waterfalls all welcome you to a taste of the Amazon Jungle.

Offering a 3D experience, it is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of London, granting you entry to an unforgettable underground world. Housed under a rich canopy and beneath a starscape, the Rainforest Cafe is the perfect and ideal venue for a family adventure or for those looking for something a little different with their dining options.

In this unique jungle surrounding, everything is brought to life with the aid of stunning special effects and animatronics including thunder and lightning storms, tropical showers, cascading waterfalls as well as several of our inhabitants: a menacing jaguar, a snapping crocodile and our chattering friendly gorillas. For those who love the interactive experience, guests can experience a close up with our Rainforest animals as well as our interactive floors when greeted downstairs, not forgetting our tropical aquarium inhabitants. Guests also receive the chance to meet our beloved mascot. Cha Cha the Red Eyed Tree Frog.

We fancy ourselves as the number one destination for children, students, adults and for those looking for a dining experience with a theme. On the menu is a range of food dishes following an American and International cuisine for both adults and children alike. Not forgetting our infamous Sparkling Volcano dessert, we offer tasty treats all year round including speciality burgers, ribs, steaks and pasta dishes.

Celebrating key moments throughout the year including Mothers’ Day, Easter, Fathers’ Day, Grandparents’ Day and the summer break, every visit to Rainforest Cafe is never the same; we also offer celebration packages which is easily bookable with the help of our Reservations Team.

These Educational Tours cater for a variety of curriculum links across all the primary school years, accommodating for different age ranges. Our Education Officers all have an active interest in rainforest conservation and undergo detailed training to learn the required information for the tour, as well as being encouraged to do their own ongoing research into the current events revolving around the environment and new relevant discoveries. Our Education Officers all have experience working with children, several of them having previously worked in a school environment. We are proud that our Officers are passionate about inspiring the next generation about the importance of the rainforests as well as providing them with the education of what we can do as a collective whole to aid the conservation effort. Additionally, many members of the team are experienced Theatre in Education performers, allowing them create a learning environment that is both entertaining and engaging which has resulted in excellent feedback.

The Rainforest Cafe is proud to be a major sponsor for the Rainforest and is working with UK-based charity, World Land Trust which is represented by Patron. Sir David Attenborough. Their efforts combine together to rescue tropical forest while there is still time and reduce the effects current and existing threats have upon it. Together, with the help of World Land Trust, the Rainforest Cafe is directly responsible for purchasing and replanting the equivalent area of 10 Hyde Parks (London), in Ecuador.

Rainforest Cafe is also proud to support smaller community based projects, charities and events, devoting its time to external community projects. To date, Rainforest Cafe London has donated in excess of £49,000 to a variety of different schemes and requests and we are always looking for additional opportunities to be involved with.
