Q: I wonder if you and your team could recommend 4or 5 impressive restaurants in Mayfair. I’m looking for Private Dining for a group of up to 30 people which includes the legal team and clients.

TtT: Quaglino’s (Bury St SW1), springs immediately to mind. It’s very elegant and has a fab PDR which seats up to 40, overlooking the main restaurant.  Sartoria on Savile Row, has a PDR for up to 50.  For either of these, please contact Julie.

Novikov on Berkeley St contains two distinct restaurants, one Italian the other Asian with a spectacular open kitchen.  The brand new IT London on Dover St also offers fine Italian cuisine.  Both have PDRs.  Please contact Paolina.

Finally, The Blake Room at The Ivy Soho Brasserie is a beautiful private space, accommodating up to 50.  Contact Philippa.

You’re an absolute diamond! 😊 This information is so helpful as I’m up to my eyes in fee updates!

Q: I am looking for a venue for approx.120 people for drinks and canapes.  As our company is in healthcare policy and communication, we always go for venues with medical associations.  Can you help?

TtT:  BMA House (below) on Tavistock Square is the beautiful Lutyens-designed home of the medical union.  They have a range of lovely rooms and pride themselves on their healthy and seasonal catering.  Contact Rebecca Hurley.  Another lovely venue is The Museum of the Order of St John in Clerkenwell.  Contact Annie Victory.

– This is great – many thanks.
