One of the best ways of learning is peer-to-peer, joining a group of like-minded colleagues and sharing experiences, knowledge, problems and solutions.  The PA Club Discussion Forums are informal talks around topics of interest to the modern PA/EA, topics suggested by our PA members and led by them.  They are free to attend, very relaxed and include an opportunity to network over drinks at the end of the evening.  We are always pleased to welcome new faces to these discussions.  Please join us.  The next Discussion Forums are:

  • Developing You – keeping pace with a changing workplace

Thistle City Barbican, Tuesday 16th October, 18:00 – 20:00   Laura Cook, Senior EA at Pearson will lead a discussion on how the role of the EA is changing and how we can adapt to ensure that our skills, behaviours and attitudes keep up with the changing workplace. The discussion will address useful and practical ways of learning and understanding different options, approaches and implementation of skills for our present and future careers.

  • Creating Your Own Internal PA Network

Amba Marble Arch Hotel, Tuesday 11th December, 18:00 – 20:00  Led by Amy Franklyn of law firm, Bird & Bird.  Amy will explain her reasons for starting the network, how she pitched it to her boss and the benefits that have arisen from it.
