The hotel has recently gone through a massive refurbishment of the rooms and the famous Kohler Waters Spa. The rooms have been refurbished to offer guests a contemporary feel with a nod to Scottish traditions with a light, airy colour palette to encourage guests to feel relaxed and rejuvenated during their stay.
The roof has been replaced by an environmentally-friendly replica of the original by Euroshield, which allows stray golf balls to bounce off without causing dents, cracks or damage!
Additionally, the Road Hole Restaurant will now create seafood and grill inspired dishes using fresh, Scottish ingredients whilst the Sands Restaurants’ new extensive, family-friendly menu will offer something for every taste.
The multi-million pound refurbishment of the Kohler Waters Spa will provide a ‘SPA’ in the true meaning of the word “health through water”. Guests can indulge in the healing effects of water, from a hydrotherapy pool providing therapeutic bathing, a cold plunge pool and a refreshing ice fountain to experience showers featuring Kohler Real Rain™. There is also a steam room providing deep muscular relaxation and detoxification, a Finnish sauna and a rooftop garden with hot tub.
The renovation will see the addition of a new 20m lap pool as part of the large health and fitness centre, as well as a gym area with cardio and resistance stations, a functional fitness space and a group exercise studio, with instructor led classes along with innovative virtual training.
