Research by the Centre for Mental Health suggests that, at any one time, one worker in six will be experiencing depression, anxiety or problems relating to stress. 91 million work days are lost each year due to mental health problems. And the total cost to employers is estimated at almost £35 billion per year – that’s equivalent to £1,206 for every employee

As part of our Corporate Wellbeing Programme at the Ask Abbie Show, Mental Health First Aid instructor and Chief Executive of Future Path, Kevin Moore will introduce the science of stress, how to spot the signs in ourselves and in others and coping strategies for dealing with it.

Built on years of experience, and extensive professional development, Kevin will encourage everybody to take a look inward, measure their mood and apply useful techniques to keep us all in the right frame of mind. He will also ensure that participants can use these techniques on others as well as themselves, bringing a real relevance to the workplace, home and our local communities.

Kevin is Chief Executive of Future Path and the co-founder of Big Dog Little Dog, 2 organisations that specialise in mental health in employment. A strong advocate for mental resilience, Kevin is passionate about wellbeing and people’s ability to manage their stress levels. He is a frequent speaker at national events, an experienced Mental Health First Aid instructor and has worked across England, Wales and the USA. Known for his imposing size and enthusiastic delivery style, Kevin has delivered mental health workshops and training sessions to organisations such as HMRC, G4S, the Department for Work and Pensions and City Hall.
