Aqua Restaurant Group has 23 restaurants across Hong Kong, Beijing and London, where their first UK site on Regent Street opened in 2009. The group in London comprises four stunning venues; aqua shard, serving contemporary British cuisine and Hutong, serving Northern Chinese cuisine both located in The Shard and aqua kyoto, offering contemporary Japanese cuisine and aqua nueva offering innovative Spanish cuisine, both with roof top terraces overlooking Regent Street.
Aqua shard, located on level 31 of The Shard, serves contemporary British cuisine and innovative cocktails in a stylish cosmopolitan interior. The restaurant offers fine British produce from carefully sourced local suppliers which is beautifully prepared using innovative techniques. Enjoy breakfast, weekday lunch, weekend brunch, afternoon tea, and dinner or drop in for cocktails in the bar with stunning panoramic views of the city below. Aqua shard also has two semi private dining areas for up to 100 guests seated or 200 guests standing. Alternatively hire the space exclusively for up to 180 guests seated or 360 guests standing.
Located on the 33rd floor of The Shard, Hutong serves Northern Chinese cuisine, inspired by the dishes served in the imperial palaces of what was then Peking. Hutong offers the ideal location for a meal with colleagues or an event in one of their private dining rooms for up to 26 guests seated. Alternatively, book for a drinks and canape reception in Hutong’s Shanghai bar for up to 100 standing. For larger groups, the restaurant also has a semi exclusive event space for 85 seated or 200 standing or if you’re looking for an exclusive space the restaurant seats 100 or 340 for standing.
Aqua kyoto offers contemporary Japanese cuisine utilising superb produce with a contemporary technique. Central to the restaurant is a sushi bar and open sumibiyaki charcoal grill. The sleek black and red interiors and a stunning terrace provide a dramatic backdrop for a host of events, from intimate private dining to exclusive hire.
Aqua nueva offers innovative Spanish cuisine exploring the variety and depth of Spain’s vibrant flavours in a refined and modern menu. Located off Regent Street, the restaurant has two adaptable private dining rooms with seating for up to 30 guests or 80 guests standing. Guests can enjoy a drink at our large central cocktail bar or on one of our two roof top terraces for up to 100 guests standing.
