It’s The Most Important Conversation on the Planet

As Britain gears up to host COP26 and governments, companies and organisations everywhere are focusing on climate change and the environment, it’s time for you to kickstart your own route to sustainability.  The PA Club Climate and Environment Conference aims to give you, as a senior PA/EA, with your unique access to the executive ear, practical and actionable advice to take back to the office and apply at home and in the community.
We’ve lined up a panel of impressive speakers, experts in their field, who will share with you their own experiences, knowledge and strategies, to give you a complete Sustainability tool kit.
Our speakers:
It is increasingly evident companies with sustainable working practices have a better chance of attracting investment and winning business.  Annabel Nelson, Head of ESG Policy & Disclosure at M&G plc will explain how she persuaded the company to put sustainability at the heart of their policy.
Dr Alastair Smith, of the Global Sustainable Development Programme, University of Warwick, will take us through the basics of global warming and the nature of the challenges we face.  But it’s not all doom and gloom and the power to make meaningful change is in our hands.
The pressure is on the travel industry, and air travel in particular, to make responsible changes to tackle carbon emissions. James Whittingham, Head of Carbon Management at EasyJet will look at the measures the industry is taking now and their vision for offsetting all emissions in the future as well as introducing alternative fuels.
Andrew Heath is the Head of Media and Stories at our chosen charity, Practical Action.  He will present a number of their projects worldwide and describe how small actions can lead to huge change.
