All our food is prepared in our purpose-built training kitchen in Herne Hill, where individuals on day release from prison, or those at risk of offending, gain valuable hands-on experience in a professional kitchen environment. Under supervision from professional chefs, they train towards industry-recognised City & Guilds NVQ qualifications in hospitality and professional cookery, helping to build skills, confidence, and brighter futures.

We offer a bespoke catering service perfect for office meetings, team lunches, corporate events, and celebrations of all sizes. Our menus feature delicious breakfasts and lunch platters, beautifully presented canapés, and freshly baked cakes – all crafted using high-quality ingredients and prepared with care and attention to detail.

Catered by Clink is a natural extension of The Clink Charity’s wider mission, which since 2009 has been committed to reducing reoffending through education, training, and employment. In 2024 alone, The Clink trained over 800 people in prison and delivered more than 650 vocational qualifications.

Our work spans a number of initiatives, including public-facing restaurants, an award-winning bakery, horticulture projects, and our flagship social enterprise, Clink Events – an accredited caterer for many of London’s most iconic venues such as St Paul’s Cathedral, The Science Museum, Westminster Abbey, Guildhall, and Royal Museums Greenwich.

From our original kitchen at HMP Downview to our latest training hub in Herne Hill, we empower both young people and adults with real-world experience in hospitality. Our students gain more than just skills – they gain a second chance.
